TOGGLE AND QUICK RELEASE FASTENERS

Due to locking over the dead center, toggle fastenings provide high vibration resistance and can be used perfectly well for fastening of housing covers, claddings and all other industrial building elements which need to be locked and unlocked frequently and also quickly.

The clamping bracket clamps over the clamping hook and as a result of leverage effect the toggle locks. Thus tensile forces can be well absorbed, whereas the toggle performs insufficiently under high shearing forces. Toggles equipped with a threaded hook or bracket can be adjusted in length. In case of non-adjustable toggles the clamping bracket acts as a tolerance compensator. For dynamic applications we recommend using toggles with additional spring lock. To open this kind of toggles the spring lock has to be brought into opening position and the recessed grip has to be lifted. The spring lock latches automatically when closing.

For fastening of hooks and base plates we propose to use Polygrip rivets. These are most suitable because of an excellent hole bearing for large and not perfectly round drilling holes. Furthermore, Polygrip rivets cover a large grip range and have a big closing head after fixing.
